Advance tax is a pre-payment of your income tax before the end of a financial year.
Salman Khan movie “Sultan” made Rs.500 crore and he paid Rs. 44.5 crore as tax. He paid Rs. 32.2 crore in the last fiscal year.
On 2nd number comes Akshay Kumar, who is followed by Hrithik Roshan. Other highest advance taxpayers are Kapil Sharma (surprisingly), Alia Bhat, Karan Johar and Deepika Padukone.
Akshay Kumar paid almost Rs. 29.5 crore advance tax this fiscal compared to Rs. 30 crore in the last fiscal. Hrithik Roshan was the third highest advance taxpayer with an annual advance paid tax of approximately Rs 25.5 crore. He has reportedly seen a raise of 74 per cent in one year, as he had paid a total advance tax of Rs 14 crore in the last year.
Other prominent names from the Bollywood on the list are Amir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor but as always no one can beat Salman Khan.
